After breakfast we left the park to do some exploring along the eastern shore of Georgian Bay which is part of Lake Huron. We took the lake shore roads as much as possible - what beautiful beaches and homes around the lake. We stopped in Tim Horton's in Collingwood and what a storm we had. There was lightning, thunder, wind, rain and hail. It only lasted for about 10 minutes but there was lots of water around after. We then went to Wasaga Beach - what a long beach there and what a crowd, even after the thunder storm. And the traffic was unbelievable - very busy spot. We got back home just before supper time. I went for a little walk after supper and then we relaxed.
