Day 334

Cloudy here today with some showers in the morning and in the evening. Only 24º today and 19º here now.
Wii 1st thing but no walk because of the rain this morning. After breakfast I went for a bike ride into Noel's where me and Payton then went for a ride around the school by their place. She did some playing on the playground equipment and then I had to push both bikes home because she was tired lol. I biked back home by a different route and then just before supper I went for a walk. After supper we relaxed.

Day 333

Another nice warm (25º) sunny day again today. 20º here now.
Wii and walk 1st thing. After breakfast I mowed and trimmed the lawn. When I finished I went to the pool for a quick freshen up. After lunch we went to Innerkip and Woodstock to conduct some 'business'. When we got back home we fired up the BBQ for supper and then relaxed for the evening. You are not allowed open wood fires in the park so we purchased a small portable propane fire bowl with rocks - not as good as the real thing, but hey it's better than nothing lol.
Update on the thunderstorm we had Wednesday evening - it dumped 125 mm (5 inches) of rain on this area in 2 to 3 hours. Is it any wonder we had water on our lawn and the brook rose so fast. The road also washed out just outside the park.

Day 331

Nice warm (24º) sunny day today and the humidity is gone after the big thunderstorm last evening - very comfortable day. 20º here now.
Wii and walk 1st thing. After breakfast I installed a pull down blind on a deck for a couple in the park to block the sun in the evening. My first cash earned since I retired lol. Shortly after lunch Noel, Damien & Payton here for a visit. The grandkids wanted to go to the pool right away, so the pool it was. They left for home just before supper. Spent the evening relaxing.

Day 330

Another very warm (29º) and humid (felt like 39º) day today. Around 4 pm we had a very wicked thunder storm which lasted about a couple of hours. Lots of wind, rain, thunder & lightning. It cleared up the humidity though and still 23º here now.
Wii and walk 1st thing. After breakfast I went into Woodstock to do some business. Back before lunch and then I took the motor home into Tavistock to fuel it up. When I got back I mowed the spot where its parked before I put it back in place. It was starting to get black and thunder then. After I got back to the trailer I took off to the pool for a quick freshen up and got back home just before the storm hit - was close lol. As you can see from the pics below we had quite a bit of rain in a short while - the brook behind our place was really low before the storm and rose in a hurry. We are back to clear skies now.

Day 329

Another warm (28º) sunny day here today with a few clouds around supper time. Still 22º here now.
Wii and walk 1st thing. Ruby into Woodstock for the day first thing this morning. After breakfast I made a screen door for the patio door in our home. It was missing and to order a new one was very expensive so I purchased the materials at Home Depot and made one. It took a bit of adjusting, figuring, etc but after awhile I got it made and fitted. It cannot slide open but we wanted it there so we could open the patio door for some ventilation. After Ruby got home we had supper and then we went to the park pool for a quick dip to freshen up for our relaxing evening.

Day 328

Great warn sunny day today with 28º and still 25º here now.
Some Wii and my walk 1st thing. Noel dropped the grandkids here after breakfast and then me and him went to Woodstock and played 18 holes of golf. When we got back gramma was at the pool with Damien & Payton. After they got out, dried off and dressed Noel & the grandkids left for home. After supper I went to the pool for a quick dip to freshen up.

Day 327

Cloudy his morning but cleared up early and a nice sunny day after (25º) and still 23º here now.
Noel, Damien & Payton here early this morning and then me and Noel went to the gun show in Woodstock while Damien & Payton stayed with gramma. We got back before lunch and they left for home then. We spent the rest of the day and evening relaxing, reading, watching tv, etc as Sunday is our "rest day".
