Day 668

Sunny and warm when we started out this morning but cloudy and a bit cool when we got to Montreal.
Left Flying J in Napanee at 7:35 am this morning. Stopped once along the way for a coffee/tea. Arrive at Koa South campground in Montreal at 12:30 pm. Got set up and then took our vehicle off the car dolly - the front wheels were turned because the lock on the steering wheel broke. Called Doris to tell Donnie to bring out some boards etc to try and put some blocks on the car dolly to keep the front wheels from turning. Then decided to check on the internet and found a simple solution - use the seat belt to hold the steering wheel in place - simple lol. Donnie & Doris got here at 6:45 pm and we had a lovely supper and a great visit with them. They left for home at 10:30 pm - so great to see them.

Day 1 - Wednesday -June 29/11

Day 667

We are on our way home - yay

A bit of a cool day today with a cool wind and 21º. Its 21º here now.
Left the park at 6:50 am (got out before some equipment etc arrived). Stopped when we got to the 401 at a truck stop for breakfast. Lots of traffic and jams going through Toronto but we got through ok. Made another stop at a service center for some coffee/tea. Arrived at the Flying J in Napanee at 1:45 pm, fueled up and parked there for the night. They have RV parking spaces here. Went for a walk and Ruby managed to find a Wal-mart lol. Had supper at Denny's and now in the motorhome relaxing.

Day 666

Mostly sunny day with a few clouds here today and 25º. Its 20º here now.
Did my morning bus run. Ruby into Woodstock for her meeting and some shopping. After breakfast I did some more getting ready for our trip home. I then cleaned out my bus and then went for a dip in the pool. Then it was off on my last bus run for this school year. We then drove some buses into Kitchener (the ones that are finished for the year) and got a ride back. While I was gone Ruby picked up the grandkids from school. Noel here after he got home from work. After supper Noel took the grandkids to their soccer. We are still loading the last minute things in the motorhome and getting things ready in the trailer. We will soon take the motorhome up to the parking lot to hook everything up for an early start tomorrow morning - we have to leave early as they are putting a new sewer system in the park and they are using the parking lot for their equipment, tanks, etc.

Day 665

Monday, June 27, 2011
Oops forgot to do our blog last night - busy, busy lol.
Started out sunny but clouded over with a high of 26º.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for tea after. After breakfast we got back at getting everything ready for out trip - lots to do. I did my afternoon bus run and while I was gone Tammy dropped Payton here on her way to work. Ruby and Payton went into Noel's to wait for Damien to get home from school. I picked the grandkids up on my way home from my bus run. Noel here after he got home from work. After supper Noel took Damien to his karate class and me & Payton went for a swim at the park pool. Ruby then took Payton home and stayed with the grandkids while Noel went to his karate class.

Day 664

Mostly sunny with some cloudy periods here today and 23º. Its 19º here now.
After a late breakfast we got back at loading and getting things ready for our trip home - would be easier to hook on the mobile home and tow it lol. I then went for a walk and swim before supper. After supper it was a bit of relaxing.

Day 663

Cloudy with some very light showers here today and 20º. Its 17º here now.
Out for a walk first thing this morning. After breakfast took Ruby out to the end of the road for her walk. Then we got back at getting things done/loaded in the motorhome for our trip home. We then went to the park chalet for a pot luck supper. Some relaxing after we got home.

Day 662

Cloudy with showers here today and 20º. Its 17º here now.
Did my morning bus run. After breakfast we went into Woodstock to attend a Landlord & Tenant Board hearing. Some tenants here in the park are stirring up s**t and we went in with the rest of the tenants to show our support to the owners - always some idiots no matter where you go. After we got home I did my afternoon bus run. While I was gone Ruby went in and waited for Damien & Payton to get home from school. She stayed with them until Noel got home from work. When I got home from my bus run I brought our motorhome up to our lot to start getting ready for our trip home. I did some checking on some things and washed and waxed from the roof to the tires. Ruby started bringing out her clothes - I told her to leave room for a tee shirt and a pair of shorts for me lol. Just getting in from the motorhome now.

Day 661

Cloudy here today with showers throughout the day and 24º. Its 20º here now.
Did my morning bus run. After I got home we went to the park chalet for 'snack morning'. Then we went for a walk to walk off the snacks lol. Then it was off on my afternoon bus run. While I was gone Tammy dropped Payton here on her way to work. Ruby & Payton went in and got Damien from school. When I got home I took the grandkids to the pool to try out their new scuba sets which we gave them for graduating - its a bit early but we won't be here when they finish school for the summer. Noel here after he got home from work. After supper Noel took Damien to his soccer and then Ruby & Payton went to the soccer field so Noel could go to his karate class. Ruby took the grandkids home from soccer and got them ready for bed.

Day 660

Mostly cloudy day here today with some sunny periods and 27º. Its 25º here now.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for fuel after. After breakfast I paid a visit to our family doc in Thamesford. Then it was off on my afternoon bus run. While I was gone Ruby in to meet the grandkids when they got home from school. I picked them up on my way home in the bus. Noel here after he got home from work. After supper Noel took Damien to his karate class and Payton went with him as they have baseball after. I trimmed the lawn and edging and mowed. We did a bit of relaxing after that.

Day 659

Another warm day with some sun and cloud and 27º. Its 22º here now.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for tea after. Ruby into Woodstock for her meeting and some shopping. I was then picked up my another bus driver and we went into Innerkip for a Sharp (bus company) year end appreciation lunch. After that I did my afternoon bus run and Tammy dropped Payton here on her way to work. Ruby and Payton went in and picked Damien up from school. After I got home I took Damien & Payton to the pool before supper. Noel here after work. After supper Noel took Damien & Payton to their soccer and he dropped Ruby off at the end of the road for her walk. Then Ruby went in to the grandkids soccer.
