Day 638

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUBY

A hot sunny one here today and 33º. Its 27º here now. A/C flat out all day.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for tea after. Ruby into Woodstock for her meeting and some shopping. After breakfast I went for a walk. Then Noel & Payton came and picked me up and we went into Noel's and bailed the water off his pool cover and removed the cover. He then brought me back home and I did my afternoon bus run. Noel, Damien & Payton (Tammy working) were here for Ruby's birthday supper - Chinese food and pizza. After supper me and Noel took the grandkids to their soccer in Tavistock. Ruby into Noel's after and we met her there after soccer.

Day 637

A hot one here today with a few clouds and lots of sun and 30º. Its 27º here now.
Did my morning bus run and after breakfast went into Woodstock to see if I could find a quick connect tee for the air suspension lines on our vehicle. Dropped Ruby off on the way for her walk. Found the one I needed at my second stop. After I got home I went for a walk and then off on by afternoon bus run. While I was gone Ruby went in and picked up the grandkids from school and brought them to our place. Noel here after he got off work. Noel and the grandkids left right after supper to take Damien to his karate class and right after that they have softball. I went out and removed the air compressor from our vehicle and installed the tee on the three air lines. Then I blew up the air bags with my small 12 volt air compressor and at about 58 lbs our vehicle was level. Took it for a ride and seems to be good. If there is no leaks should be good - will keep an eye on the pressure to make sure it holds okay. If it all works out instead of having to purchase a $500 compressor it may be fixed with a $7 tee - big difference lol. After that we relaxed on the deck enjoying the warm evening.

Day 636

Nice warm day with some cloud and some sun and 26º. Thunder showers here now and 22º.
After breakfast this morning we went to London for the day to do some shopping and pick up a few things. Got home at supper time. Relaxing after supper.

Day 635

Cloudy here today with a few sunny breaks and 20º. Its 17º here now.
Out and took the air suspension compressor off our vehicle this morning. Cleaned & oiled the check valve and installed new seal on cover. Reinstalled compressor and it seemed to work ok but rear of vehicle still not as high as it should be, although it is higher than it was - will have to do some more investigating on it. Noel, Tammy, Damien & Payton dropped in to pick up my trail cam SD card. Damien got tested at his karate today and got his yellow bely - Congrats. Noel was tested earlier in the week and also has his yellow belt - Congrats. I then put our new bike rack together - hopefully gonna install it on the back of our motorhome later. BBQ for supper and some relaxing after.

Day 634

Cloudy with some drizzle here today and 14º. Its 13º here now.
Did my morning bus run. After breakfast I dropped Ruby off for her walk on my way into Noel's to complete the installation of his mower engine. Got the engine all put back together and installed and its purring like a kitten. After I got back home I mowed the lawn. Ruby into Woodstock to pick up a few things. The I was off on my afternoon bus run. We are relaxing and gonna watch the Bruins/Lightning hockey game.

Day 633

Cloudy with a few showers here today and 22º. Its 17º here now.
Did my morning bus run and after breakfast I took our vehicle into Noel's to have a look at the rear air suspension - compressor running but not raising rear of vehicle. Did not find the trouble, will have a better look at it this weekend. We then got back at finishing putting together Noel's mower engine and installing it in the mower. Did not have time to finish it today - had to take off and do my afternoon bus run. Ruby out for her walk while I was at Noel's. Noel, Damien & Payton here for supper. After supper Noel took Damien to his karate and I had another quick look at the air suspension. Then Ruby took Payton home and is staying with the grandkids while Noel goes to his kick boxing.
