Frosty here this morning (-21). Sunny in the morning but cloudy after and -11. Its -11 here now.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for tea after. After breakfast I did some more work on the living room front wall. At lunch time a driver with Sharps arrived with my regular bus and took the spare bus back. Then it was off on my afternoon run. While I was gone Tammy dropped off Payton here on her way to work. When I got home I took Damien to his karate class in Woodstock. After supper Ruby took Damien & Payton home and stayed with them while Noel went to his karate class.

Day 517
Some flurries here throughout the day but cleared up and sunny in the afternoon and -4º. Its -11º here now.
Put a coat of paint on the window trims this morning. After breakfast I went out and cleaned up a bit of snow but it was mostly all done last evening by neighbor with his snowblower. Also got the grandkids sleds out of the shed. After lunch I put another coat of paint on the window trims. After that dried I put the blinds back up. Then Noel, Tammy, Damien & Payton arrived and we went to the ski hill in the park to do some sliding. Ruby stayed here to finish cooking supper and besides she is to nervous to watch the grandkids sliding. When we got back home me and Noel walked down to my bus where I checked it over and started it up and let it run for awhile. Different bus so I'm wasn't sure how good it was at starting in the cold but it started ok - will be a good test tomorrow morning as its suppose to be -20º here tonight. When we got back Ruby had a great cooked meal ready. Noel, Tammy and the grandkids left for home shortly after.

Day 516
Snowing here this morning until lunch time and -4º. Its -6º here now.
Up early with the grandkids and after breakfast I got back at the front living room wall with some help from the grandkids. Took down the blinds and got the area around the windows ready for painting - filled nail holes, chalked around windows, etc. Noel picked up the grandkids after he got home from work. After supper Ruby put a coat of priming around the windows. We are gonna get the area around the windows done tomorrow so we can get the blinds back up. Listening to the Wings / Cats hockey game now - lots of scoring - GO WINGS GO !!!!!

Day 515
Cloudy mild day here today and -3º. Its -5º here now.
Ruby into Noel's at 6 am to wait for the grandkids to get up and then get them off to school. When I went down to my bus this morning it wouldn't start. Contacted the office at Innerkip and Rob came out and picked me up and took me to Innerkip where another bus was ready for me. I was 15 mins late on my pickups but my students were still waiting and another driver did my pickup in New Hamburg. I was about 8 mins behind by the time I got to the school to drop them off. Stopped for tea after. Ruby into Woodstock after breakfast and after she finished she went into Noel's to wait for the grandkids to get home from school and Tammy to get home from work. The mechanics came to the park to try and get my bus started but no luck so they got a tow truck to take it to the shop and I will keep the other bus until mine is repaired. I hope it is not to long because I have a much older bus now. I did my afternoon bus run. We then met Noel, Tammy, Damien & Payton at Crabby Joe's where they treated us to supper. The grandkids came back home with us and are having a sleepover with us tonight.

Had trouble with the stop sign on my bus and had to go to Innerkip after my run to get it repaired. While I was gone Ruby & Payton went into Noel's to wait for Damien to get home from school and for Tammy to get home from work. After supper Ruby back into Noel's to watch the grandkids while Noel went to his karate.
