Day 426

Cold & cloudy here today and 6º. It's 4º here now.
Spent the day relaxing - reading & TV. Into Noel's for supper and then gave out the treats while Noel & Tammy took the kids out - they got lots of treats. Just got home from there and some more relaxing now.

Day 425

Sunny and windy day here today and 11º. It's 10º here now.
Ruby picked up early this morning by her TOPS chapter friends and they went to Stratford for a TOPS Friendship Retreat. Ruby got an Inspirational Award from her TOPS chapter and also a Chapter Best Achiever For Weight Loss award - way to go dear - looking good. Noel picked me up before lunch and we went with the grandkids to their gymnastics. After that we went for lunch at Fritz's. Noel then dropped me at home and he took the kids home, got them dressed and dropped them at an Halloween party. He then picked me up and we went deer hunting until dark - no luck. Noel saw a turkey. Settled in for the night now.

Day 424

Cold cloudy day here today with a few showers and 7º. It's 5º here now.
Made my morning bus run and after I got home Ruby went into Noel's and picked up Payton. Had trouble keeping the corn stove going yesterday as there is to much powder in the corn I purchased. It keeps plugging up the feed hogger and the stove goes out. The man I purchased it from told me when I ordered 30 bags that his corn from this year was not ready yet and he brought me 10 bags from last year to keep me going. He told me that it was dusty. So today I sifted most of the 10 bags through a fly screen which got rid of most of the powder and the corn stove is working good with the sifted corn. Hopefully his new corn will be a lot cleaner. Ruby and Payton went into Woodstock after lunch and Ruby then dropped Payton of at home. When she got back she followed me to Ingersoll for my afternoon bus run. After I finished my run I took the bus to the Ingersoll yard and left it there as I am starting a new route with another bus Monday morning. We then drove back home for some supper and some R & R.

Cool cloudy windy day here today and 9º. It's 7º here now.
Made my 2 bus runs today and got the VS up and running with the WF. Seems to be getting over my flu - still sore throat and sinus but aching joints etc gone. Hopefully I don't have a relapse. Will take it easy for the rest of the week to fully recover. Lit the corn stove for the first time today.
We got tickets to the Canadian Juniors versus Finland hockey game in Kitchener on Dec 23 - should be great to see.

Day 422

Warm sunny day here today, but very windy and 17º. Its 15º here now.
Still feeling under the weather so did my 2 bus runs today and then played around the rest of the day trying to get the VS up and running - making some headway I think. I have to take another bus driver with me tomorrow on my route as they are going to have me and him swap routes. He lives in Ingersoll and does a route in Woodstock and I live near Woodstock and does a route in Ingersoll - so it makes sense. Watching Survivor now.

Day 421

Warm cloudy day here today and 21º with some wind and rain just before supper. It's 16º here now.

Made my 2 bus runs today and not much else as i'm still not feeling well - resting and reading. Ruby into Woodstock his morning. We were gonna go to a farewell happy hour (for the ones leaving for the winter) at the park chalet this evening but not feeling up to it. Some Neocitrion now and off to bed to try and shake this.

Warm cloudy day here today with some sunny breaks and 19º. Its 17º here now.
Made my morning and afternoon bus runs today and didn't do much else as I am not feeling well - sore throat, aching joints, etc - must have picked up a bug. It was laundry day for Ruby.

Nice warm day here today, mostly cloudy with a few sunny breaks and 19º Its 17º here now.
Mostly relaxing day today. Had a walk, did some reading etc. We took it easy.

Day 418

Warm cloudy day here today with rain in the afternoon and 15º. Its 12º here now and showers.
Into Woodstock this morning to to try and find a cable I need to set up my VS. Found one but to expensive - have one ordered from Ebay. Spent the rest of the day setting up the new Quad LNB and pointing the dish to the right satellites. Also had to move cell phone booster and wireless modem near the TV to get everything hooked up. Tammy dropped Damien here after lunch and took Payton to a birthday party. Ruby and Damien picked Payton up from the birthday party at 4 pm. Noel here for supper after work and they left for home shortly after. Some R & R now.
