Nice sunny warm (27º) day here. A little bit cooler at the cabin with some wind but still a nice day.
Wii & walk 1st thing. Ruby into Woodstock first thing this morning. After breakfast I went out and started building a wall for the new room. While I was at that I got a call from Judy (thank you) saying that they were all at Rhoda & Darryl's cabin and cooking up a turkey supper. She invited us up. When Ruby got home we got ready and left at 12:45 pm and arrived at the cabin at 4 pm. 320 km from our place to the cabin. It was so good to see all the crowd and spend some time with them. Rhoda & Darryl have a beautiful spot there. The turkey supper with all the trimmings tasted great, made all the better because of the newfie greens and salt beef. I think there was 23 there for supper. Let's see if I can name them all: Darryl & Rhoda; Ray & Irene; Reg & Louise; Judy; Joyce; Larry, Colette, Spencer, Hayden & Brody; Dean, Darlene & Edward; Peter and his girl friend (sorry can't remember her name); Rhoda's 3 girl friends; and me & Ruby - I think I got them all lol. After supper there was a fire going outside for all to enjoy. We got invited to stay the night (thanks) and of course we stayed - to good to leave.

Beautiful sunny morning at the cabin with a little breeze of the lake.
Larry, Dean and the kids were out fishing after breakfast and caught a small mouth bass. Had some leftovers from last night supper - still tasty. Dean deep fried some coated squid rings - they were tasty. Reg filleted the bass and Dean deep fried them. Its the first time most of us ever tasted bass - great taste. Daryl towed the kids around the lake on a tube with his boat - they really enjoyed it. Colette also did some water skiing. Me, Ruby, Judy & Joyce left at 3 pm to head back Judy said that was the reason she invited us up, so that they could have a taxi trip back lol. We stopped at the Vaughan Mall (Bass Pro there) on the way where we did a little shopping and had supper. We then dropped Judy & Joyce at Rhoda's and headed for home arriving there at 9:30 pm.
THANKS FOR THE INVITE AND THE NIGHT AT THE CABIN. IT WAS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU ALL AND SPEND SOME TIME WITH YOU. WE REALLY HAD A GREAT TIME AND ENJOYED IT SO MUCH.
