Day 3814

A mix of sun and cloud here today and 24. Its 17 here now.
Spent the morning working on getting the printer working and doing the forms that we send to the IRS in the US each year. We then got ready and went to a restaurant in Woodstock where we met Gerry & Yvonne for Ruby's birthday lunch. After lunch the four of us explored some of the shops in downtown Woodstock. We then returned the rental car we had and picked up our vehicle at the dealership - they had the sound amp replaced. After that we stopped to pick up a few things before heading home. The sound went again in our vehicle so I called the dealership to let them know. Then Landon & Charlie here - Landon not feeling well. I put Landon to bed up here and Ruby went down to the house to put Charlie to sleep. Damien & Payton here with us tonight also.

Day 3813

A mostly cloudy day here today with showers in the afternoon and 24. Its 20 here now.
Got Damien & Payton up and out the door this morning for their mom to pick them up. We then got ready and went to Shouldice Hospital in Markham. It's the hospital where I had my hernia surgery in February 2014 and I am having a lot of pain in that area. Got checked out and not another hernia but a bad groin pull - gotta take it easy for a while. On the way back home we stopped in Princeton to have a look at a trailer that is for sale - not in very good shape. Looking at all the options for a trailer including buying one up here and towing it home if we can't find what we want in NL. After supper I put Landon to bed and Ruby is watching him & Charlie while Sarah is at her ball game and Noel is working.

Day 3812

A mix of sun and cloud here today and 26. Its 17 here now.
Got Damien up this morning for breakfast and then Noel took him & Payton to their school in Hickson and he then took Landon & Charlie to their day care in Woodstock. After breakfast I went out to get at the pool deck again but having trouble with a hernia again so couldn't do anything - will have to get it checked out. Spent the day catching up on paper work etc. Landon & Charlie here with us for supper. Damien & Payton staying here with us tonight.

Day 3811

A mix of sun and cloud here today and 25. Its 18 and rain here now.

Let gramma sleep in a bit this morning and then I brought up Landon & Charlie for a late breakfast with us. After breakfast me & Noel put together a dome climber for the grand kids. We then put the first coat of paint on the garage doors. Then got things ready for Ruby's early birthday party - her birthday is Wednesday but only day everyone here. Bob & Sue here too. Had a great feed of Chinese food along with 2 great desserts.
