Day 568

Cloudy here today and 5º. Its 3º here now.
Sneaked out this morning without waking the grandkids and did my morning bus run. When I got back home Ruby took Damien to school and then went into Woodstock for her meeting and some shopping. I spent the rest of the morning and until shortly after lunch with Payton - watching her movies lol. When Ruby got home I left for my afternoon bus run and while I was gone Ruby & Payton went in and picked up Damien from school and they were here for supper. After supper Noel & Tammy picked them up and took them back home.

Day 567

Cloudy with some drizzle here today and 8º. Its 5º here now.
Ruby into Noel's before 6 am this morning for Noel & Tammy to go to work, wait for the grandkids to get up and then get them off to school. I did my morning bus run and stopped for tea after. After breakfast I went for a walk. Then its was off on my afternoon bus run and Ruby went into Noel's to wait for the grandkids to get home from school and Noel & Tammy to get home from work. After supper Noel dropped the grandkids here on his way to karate and they are here for a sleepover.

Day 566

Cloudy here today with some sunny periods and 7º. Its 1º here now.
Ran out of propane last night - it shouldn't have happen as we are on auto fill up. At around 9:30 pm last night we found it a little cool in the home and when I checked the furnace the pilot light had gone out. Tried the stove but gone as well and then checked the propane tanks and they were empty. Called our supplier at 9:45 pm and left a message on their emergency voice mail but they did not get back to us so I called their pager number and left my number. They finally called and I explained our situation and he said he would get here as quick as he can. The truck showed up a little after 1 am (he had to drive quite a ways) and it was after 2 am before we got in bed. It wasn't cold here because we had the corn stove in the add-on and a small electric heater in the trailer. Will have to give them a call tomorrow to check out what went wrong.
A fairly quiet and relaxing day here today. After a late breakfast I walked down to the end of the park and started up my bus, let it run for awhile and got things ready for tomorrow morning - back at it then. After an early supper we took all the corn out of the corn stove and cleaned the hogger as it was making a slight noise - good now.

CONGRATS TO TIFFANY & SCOTT ON THE BIRTH OF THEIR DAUGHTER AND TO GRANDMA TRINDA & GRANDPA WALLY. THERE'S NOTHING LIKE BEING GRANDPARENTS - ITS GREAT!!!!!!!!

Cold cloudy day here today and 2º. Its -1º here now.
Up bright and early with the grandkids. After breakfast me and Damien went in and picked up Noel and we took Damien to his karate class. After he finished we went back to our place and picked up Payton and then I took them home. After lunch me and Ruby went to London for the afternoon. We stopped at and RV dealer and ordered 4 6-volt batteries for our motor home and also made an appointment to get it serviced etc. Then we went to Costco for Ruby to pick up a few things. After we stopped at Red Lobster for supper. We have never been to a Red Lobster restaurant and Ruby always wanted to try it - she's the food expert in the family lol. We were not disappointed - the food and service was great and Ruby got her feed of lobster and shrimp. We will have to take you there while you are here this summer Helen & Earl. When we got home it was relax time.

Nice day here today, mostly sunny and 12º. Its 5º here now.
Into Noel's this morning to pick up the grandkids and bring them back to our place. After breakfast I got back at painting the new door jam/facings and the trailer trim/facings. Finally got it all finished after lunch (took 5 coats on some trim). Painting all finished for this round. Ruby then took the grandkids home and got at cleaning up after she got back. I cleaned the corn stove and then went for a walk. After supper Ruby went in and picked up the grandkids and they are here for a sleepover. Listening to the Wings/Cats game now - GO WINGS GO !!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAT - HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT ONE - LOVES YOU!!!!!!!!

Mostly sunny day here today and 14º - nice. Its 12º here now.
Into Noel's this morning to wait for the kids to get up and bring them to our place for breakfast. After breakfast I redid the screw/nail holes in the doorway jam/facing and then me and Damien went for a walk. Into Noel's just after lunch, brought the grandkids home and helped him dig up the covers for his septic tank - he is getting it pumped out tomorrow morning. When I got back did the final touch up on the doorway and taped to paint the molding and door trims in the kitchen/entrance etc. I then primed the molding/trim and doorway jam, etc. After supper Ruby went into HH and pick up some more paint and I started putting a coat of paint on the molding/facings, etc. When she got back she got at touching up the trim, walls, door, etc in the add on while I finished up the 1st coat on the trailer molding/facing etc. It was after 8 pm by the time we finished up but we should finish with the painting etc tomorrow.

Day 562

Rain this morning but cleared up after lunch and sunny after and 8º. Its 4º here now.
Into Noel's and waited for the grandkids to get up and brought then to our place for breakfast. After breakfast me and Damien took the last bit of ice off the deck and then, with help from both of them, we got at doing the door box between the trailer and add-on. Before lunch I took Damien and Payton and met Noel at the GM dealer in Woodstock. They sold their van through the dealer and Tammy as a 2011 GMC Terrain ordered - it will be made at the plant where she works and she will help build it. While in there I picked up some more items at HH for my job and then dropped Noel, Damien & Payton at home. Then we got back at casing in the door frame etc and before supper had most of it completed - have to fill in the screw/nail holes tomorrow to get it ready for painting. I then went in and picked up Damien and took him to his karate class. Had supper when I got back home and then some relaxing.
