A sunny day here today with a cold wind and 18. Its 8 here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast Ruby and Maryann went for a walk. Me & Darrell went over to the park pool and took down & stored the outside Christmas decorations. When I got back home I did some work on the adjustable arms for the hurricane shutters on our windows. The bolts holding the inside sliding pole were rusted and seized. Got them loose with loosing oil and blow torch. Removed each of the rings holding the bolts, took out the bolts, cleaned the treads etc and reinstalled them. 2 had the bolts twisted off so had to drill out the piece of bolt, retread them and installed new bolts. As I did each one I opened the shutters more which made it a lot brighter in the trailer. We then got ready and went across the road to Larry & Fidele's for wine time and homemade turkey soup for supper.
