A sunny day here today and 20. Its 15 here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I went over to Tim's aunt's place to help him raise the top of the deck, remove old steps & install wider steps, etc. - she uses a walker so we set it up to make it easier for her. While I was gone Ruby went for her walk and after lunch she went to the clubhouse for for a wine glass painting class. When she got back we went to Fred & Dianne's for wine time.

Day 3067
A sunny day here today with a cool wind and 16. Its 12 here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I did some finalizing on the February events calendar for the park. Then posted it to the parks Facebook page and went to Staples to print copies that I placed in the clubhouse when I got back. Ruby went for her walk after she had her breakfast. I then did a poster and sign-up sheet for an event here in the park. After that I did up and posted the golf teams for the park golf league and walked to the golf course to bring over the sheet to them. After supper Ruby went to the clubhouse for bingo.

A mix of sun and cloud here today and 18. Its 16 here now.
8 of us guys went to a golf course in Tampa for 18 holes of golf this morning. Ruby out for her walk while I was gone. After I got back home I went with Tim to a hardware store to pick up some lumber.

A cloudy day here today with rain in the afternoon and 24. Its 19 here now.
After breakfast this morning we went to a golf course, along with 3 other couples, and played 9 holes - just beat the rain. After golf we all went out to lunch. Stopped on the way home to pick up a few things. When we got back home I did up and posted the Feb 2018 calendar of events to our park Facebook page.

Day 3064
A sunny day here today and 25. Its 20 here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast Ruby went for her walk with Diane & Ruth. I drained some water from our hot water tank to check it out - all good. I then cleaned out the eave troughs with the shop vac - lots of stone from the shingles and pieces of shingles in them. Also resealed all the screws on the deck roof, resealed the joins in the eave troughs and did some repairs on the down spouts. Then we went over to Fred & Diane's for wine time before supper. Skyped with the family after supper.

A sunny day here today and 24. Its 19 here now.
Me, Darrell & Mike went to a golf course in Clearwater to hit some balls on their driving range, do some chipping, putting, etc. While we were gone Ruby went for her walk. After we got back home I went over to Mike's to check out his hot water tank in his fifth wheel - he wasn't getting any water from the tank. Found a plugged check valve on the outlet side of the tank. Removed the valve and cleaned it and also replaced the anode rod - all ok now. When Ruby got back from her walk she made and installed valances over the bedroom windows. I went to a place here in the park to check out a printer for them. After that I did up and posted the stats for the golf league. After supper we, along with Darrell & Maryann, went down to Lawrence & Teresa's for a few games of Fast Track.

A sunny day here today with some wind and 20. Its 14 here now.
Ruby went to her TOPS meeting this morning and shopping after. I walked to the golf course and played 18 holes with the park golf league. When I got back home we got ready and went with Teresa & Lawrence to a restaurant in St. Pete's for Dianne's birthday supper - 10 of us there. After we got back home we went to visit Mike & Dianne.

Day 3061
A sunny day on the road today and 26 - got cooler as we drove back to Largo, 17 here. Its 13 here now.
Left our rental on Margo Island at 0800. Stopped in Naples for breakfast. Took the scenic route driving back - stayed of the interstates and drove through the city / towns to see a few of them. Stopped in Apollo Beach to see the manatees at the power plant there - when the gulf waters get cool they gather in the water from the power plant as it is warmer. Then we headed back to our park arriving there at 1600. Had a great 3 day trip.
