Day 452

Cold windy day here today and -2º. Its -3º here now.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for tea after. After breakfast we dug out the Christmas tree and set it up - not decorated yet. Then I did my afternoon bus run. Tammy dropped the grandkids here after supper for a sleepover. Ruby went into a party at Tammy's. Me and the grandkids watched a movie and both went to sleep a short while ago.

Day 451

Cold wet day here with freezing rain this morning and 6º. Its 6º here now.
Did my morning bus run and picked up Payton on my way home. After breakfast we started getting out the Christmas stuff with Payton's help. Got most of the inside decorations etc. set up except for the tree - Ruby don't wanna be late for Santa lol. I then went on by afternoon bus run and Ruby brought Payton home while I was gone. After supper I went in and checked out the tree for Tammy - lights and fiber optic motor.

Mostly sunny but cold day here today and 3º. Its 1º here now.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for tea after. After breakfast I went for a walk. Ruby at her Christmas baking most of the day - I don't know whose gonna eat it all lol. Did my afternoon bus run and Ruby up to the park chalet for a little get together (cake and coffee) for a couple here in the park celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Some R & R now and waiting for Survivor to come on.

Warm here this morning (14º) but cooled down considerably during the day and 1º here now.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for tea on the way back. Ruby into Woodstock this morning for her meeting and some shopping. I stopped at Noel's on the way home from my bus run and picked up Payton and took her to our place. She wanted a fried egg sandwich but she didn't think pop could make it because in her words "pop can't make Kraft dinner" lol - I managed to do it though. Ruby got home after lunch and then I left for my afternoon bus run. Tammy picked up Payton on her way home from work. When I got back home we went into Tavistock as we had heard that a new doctor their was taking new patients - we checked with the health clinic there and they had not heard anything about t so we put our names on a waiting list for a family doctor. It was R & R time when we got back home.

Day 448

Warm but wet day here today and 14º. Its still 14º here now.
Did my morning bus run and stopped at Noel's on my way home to check and see if we could find an alternator for his pickup in Woodstock. Could not get one so he came back home with me and then we went to Cambridge to pick one up. After we got back we installed it and the noise is gone - bad bearing in his old alternator. Then it was off to fuel up and my afternoon bus run. Some R & R now.

Cool cloudy windy day here today and 5º. Its 4º here now.
Into Noel's after breakfast to check on the noise coming from his pickup. It seems to be coming from a bad bearing in his alternator. We took the alternator off and went to CTC in Woodstock to get one but they didn't have one in stock. Noel will check some auto part places in Woodstock tomorrow morning to see if he can find one, if not we will have to go to Cambridge after my bus run as Napa has one there. On the way home from CTC Noel dropped me at the park and then we listened to the rest of the Wings/Boos hockey game - Wings loss today. We relaxed after that.

Day 446

Another cool cloudy day with a few sunny periods here today and 6º. Its 1º here now.
Out for a walk first thing this morning. After breakfast I cleaned the corn stove and after lunch I put up the outdoor Christmas lights - Ruby's getting the spirit lol. Its hard to believe we are getting ready for our second Christmas up here - time is flying. We then went into Noel's and had a supper of Chinese food with him and the grandkids (Tammy was working). When we got back home we listened to the Wings beat the Boos - way to go Wings.
