Day165

A cloudy day with flurries today - good temp.
Wii 1st thing. After breakfast I put the plastic covering back in the bathroom and started on painting the walls. Put 2 coats on them and it took all day because of the amount of trimming etc. The painting is now finished in there. Ruby did her Wii workout while I was painting. Put all the things back in place before supper. Noel & Tammy dropped of the grandkids before supper and they are here for a sleepover. Spent the evening having fun with them. Into Noel's at 9 pm to let the dogs out to do their thing.

Day 164

!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAMMY !!!!!!!
A cloudy day here today with a few flurries, not a bad temp though.
Wii 1st thing. After breakfast I got back at the bathroom renovations. Covered everything with plastic and painted around the skylight, all the trim and the ceiling. Had to put 4 coats to cover the trim. Of course I had to tip over a tray pf paint, luckily most of it landed on the plastic. Ruby did her Wii workout before supper. Did not get time for my walk today, did not finish with the bathroom until supper time. After supper we went into Noel,s to watch the grandkids while Tammy went to a Christmas supper - I know, I know I said the same thing lol.

Day 163

Nice day here today - cloudy with sunny periods.
The grandkids were up bright and early this morning - before 6 am. After breakfast we took them skating. Payton wouldn't do any skating this morning, she said her legs were hurting. I think she was tired. Someone keeps them up late when they stay at our place. After skating we took them for lunch at Subway - that was their choice. After lunch we went to Walmart where they spent their monthly allowance. We brought them home after that - don't know who was more tired, them or us - some fun though lol. When we got home I did my Wii workout and then went for my walk. While I was gone for my walk Ruby did her workout. After supper we went into Noel's to watch the grandkids and we are here until Tammy comes home from work.

Day 162

We had about 5 cms of snow last night and this morning. Cleared up a bit after lunch but still NE winds.
Wii 1st thing. Me and Noel were gonna go to Stratford and get our gun outdoor card this morning but with the snow we decided to do it at a later date. I got back at the bathroom renovations after breakfast and Ruby did her Wii workout. I finished touching up some spots with plaster, taped for painting and put on a coat of primer. After that I went for a walk and Ruby met me halfway for her walk. Tammy dropped of Damien & Payton after supper and they are here for a sleepover. Spent the evening being entertained by them.

Day 161

Cloudy this morning. NE winds after lunch with a little bit of snow.
Wii 1st thing. Ruby into Woodstock this morning. After breakfast I did some more touch up on the bathroom to get it ready for painting. Lots of little things to do. After lunch I went for a walk and Ruby walked out to meet me after she got home. She still has a bit of stiffness in her back and is not over her cold yet. After supper we went in to watch the grandkids and we are still here.

Day 160

Another warm sunny day today but very frosty in the nighttime - great weather though.
Wi 1st thing. After breakfast I got started on renovating the washroom - Ruby figured I had a long enough break lol. Ruby got back at her Wii workout - she's taking it easy though and trying not to hurt her back again. She still has a bad chest cold too. At 3 pm I went for a walk (can't work to long or to hard). Ruby was gonna go for a small walk and meet me but Tammy & Payton showed up to pick up something I had done on the comp for her and Ruby had a visit with them.

Day 159

Another beautiful warm sunny day again today - its just like March weather home - frosty nights and warm sunny days. Hope it keeps up.
Me, Noel & James were into our hunting grounds this morning. We went in to check on their tree stands, to set up my trail camera and to see if any deer sign there. Lots of sign of coyotes, pheasant, raccoon, rabbit and squirrels but not one track of deer. They must have went somewhere else for the winter. We put out some corn for feed and set up the trail camera by it to see what it attracts. Will check next Sunday. We listened to the last 2 periods of the Wings & Boos game when I got back. The Wings have to play the Cats in the semis - Good Luck! Noel, Damien & Payton here for supper. We relaxed after they left as they can certainly keep you going with their games and fun. Its great though.
