Day 1601

A cloudy wet drizzly day here today and 14º. Its 14º here now.
Walked to the gym this morning for a workout and Ruby to the park hall for her exercise class. After breakfast Ruby walked to the mall by our park and I went to pick up something to remove glue from front bonnet of our motorhome. Picked up a can of 3M adhesive remover and guess what - it worked. Spray on and the glue scraps off fairly easily. Removed most of the glue until the rain forced me to stop so went and picked up another can for later and will get back at it when I get the chance.

Day 1600

A cloudy day here today with a few lite showers in the morning and 21. Its 15 here now.
Out for a few laps around the park this morning and Ruby to her TOPS meeting. After breakfast we walked to the golf course and played 18 holes with the park league. After we got home from golf 13 of us from our park walked to a restaurant for a feed of all you can eat ribs.

Day 1599

A mix of sun and cloud here today and 24º Its 22º here now.
Walked to the gym this morning for a workout. We then went to the park hall for donuts & tea and a Park association meeting after. After the meeting Ruby helped decorate the hall for Valentines Day. We then had a rep from the Canadian Snowbirds Assoc. give us Canadians a talk on our time in the US, border crossings, etc. Ruby & them then finished decorating the hall. I got at trying to remove the glue from the motorhome 'bonnet' - tried a few products - no luck. Went to a few stores to try and find something to remove it - no luck. Tried some other things when I got back - very hard to remove. Checked online and found something at an auto store and will pick it up tomorrow and hopefully it will work. After supper Ruby to the park hall for her exercise class - they could not do it this morning because of the meeting.

Day 1598

Foggy here this morning but a warm sunny day and 27. Its 23 here now.
Out for a few laps around the park this morning. After breakfast I walked to the golf course for 9 holes of golf with 3 men from our park. Ruby went to a dessert party with some women from our park. When I got home from golf I got at removing the glue from the front of our motorhome - it was left there when I removed the Diamond Shield. Got it all removed except for the 'bonnet'. There is lots there so I coated it with Goo Gon and will leave it overnight. Then it was time for a few before supper refreshments. After supper Ruby went to bingo at the park hall.

Day 1597

A sunny morning here today with sun and cloud in the afternoon and 26º. Its 19º here now.
Walked to the gym this morning for a workout and Ruby to the park hall for her exercise class. After breakfast I went with Fred to Pinellas Park where we purchased a turkey fryer that a guy had for sell there. At noon 4 of us men went to St. Pete's for 18 holes of golf - last 4 holes were hard to see anything because of the fog as we were right on the inland waterway. After I got back home we went to Mike & Diane's trailer for supper and spent an enjoyable with them.

Day 1596

A warm sunny day here today and 26. Its 21 here now.
After a lite breakfast this morning 4 of us (2 couples) went to a golf course for 9 holes of golf. After golf we went for lunch where Gerry & Yvonne joined us. After lunch we went to Gerry & Yvonne's place where I installed a pet door in their mobile home door for them. Watching the Super Bowl now.

Day 1595

A nice warm sunny day here today and 25º. Its 19º here now.
Four of us guys went to a golf course and played 18 holes this morning. Ruby and the gals went for breakfast and then did some shopping. When we all got back home it was time to sit outside to enjoy the warm weather and have a few before supper refreshments.
