Day 1529

A mix of sun and cloud today and 26º. Its 22º here now.

Out for a few laps around the park this morning. After breakfast walked to the golf course by our park and played 18 holes of golf with the park golf league. Ruby did not play today but will get back at it next week. After I got back home 7 of us from the park went out for a feed of wings.

Day 1528

A warm sunny day here today and 29º. Its 24º here now.
Out for a few laps around the park this morning. We then went to the park hall for tea & donuts and the first association meeting. After that 3 of us (me, Buck & Fred) went to the rec center close to our park and got a year registration - we are gonna start going to the gym there. After lunch I went with Mike to pick up a few things for him to close up is fifth wheel when he returns to Grand Falls on Saturday. When we got back home it was time for a couple of before supper refreshments.

Day 1527

Out for a few laps around the park this morning. After breakfast we went to Clearwater with Buck & Marie and spent the day doing a little shopping. After we got back home it was over to Buck & Marie's along with Fred & Diane for a couple of refreshments.

Day 1526

Mostly cloudy here today with a few sunny breaks and 26º. Its 23º here now.
Out for a few laps around the park this morning. After breakfast 3 of us from our park (Mike, Fred & myself) went to a golf club and played 18 holes of golf. After golf me & Mike went for a couple of refreshments & a snack. When we got back home we had a couple refreshments before supper along with Buck & Marie.

Day 1525

A nice sunny day here today and 24º. Its 19º here now.

Had trouble with one of our chassis batteries at 3 this morning. Charger was tripping in and out and we smelled acid. Checked coach batteries and they were ok, then checked the chassis batteries and one was really hot and had an acid leak even though they are sealed batteries. Turned of charger until morning and then disconnected the bad battery and all ok after with only one chassis battery hooked up - will have to get 2 new chassis batteries later. Needed them anyway as they are 9 years old. After breakfast we, along with Buck & Marie, went down to Treasure island and played 9 holes of golf. Then out for lunch. After all that we relaxed for the rest of the day lol.

Day 1524

A cloudy day here today with rain in the morning and showers after and 25º. Its 21º here now.
Out for a few laps around the park after breakfast this morning - a bit late getting out this morning due to the rain. In the afternoon we went down to Treasure Island, picked up Justin and went for dinner - good to see him and spend some time with him even though it was a short time. After we got back home we were across the road to our neighbors for a few refreshments.

Day 1523

Another hot sunny day here today and 28º. Its 25º here now.

Out for a few laps around the park this morning. After breakfast we set up a few more things and then I got at checking out the charger / inverter in our motorhome. Its not charging our batteries - inverter working ok. Unhooked it, took it out of its compartment, removed cover, checked fuses, cleaned, etc. Reinstalled it and on the first couple of attempts it still would not charge but on the 3rd attempt it kicked in and started charging. Still charging ok now and hopefully it will keep working. Then me, Ruby, Buck & Marie went and did a little shopping. When we got back it was refreshment time and them supper outside at Buck & Marie's. We just finished up and went inside when Fred & Diane showed up - they live next to Buck & Marie.
