Day 2429

A mix of sun and cloud here today and 15. It's 10 and rain here now.
After breakfast with Damien & Payton this morning we got the motorhome ready for a viewing - a man from Embro coming at 11 to have a look at it. Me and Noel then started replacing a power steering line on his 1979 jeep he has. While we were at that the guy showed up to have a look at the motorhome and I spent the next hour or so going through things on the motorhome with him. After that we installed a new soft top on Noel's jeep. Ruby had a great supper of ribs for everyone. After supper Bob & Candy Rooney here to pick up the things we had brought back from Florida for them - they are the couple we bought the unit from in Florida.

Day 2428

A cloudy cool day here today and 10. Its 9 here now.
Up with Damien & Payton this morning and after breakfast Ruby took them to school. I got caught up on the mail, paperwork etc - 6 months worth. When Ruby got back we went back to the school to see Payton in her school's talent show. After that we went into Woodstock to pick up a few things. After lunch I did some more things getting things set up. Landon out with us most of the day and Charlie out with us for awhile too. After supper I unpacked and set up the new double stroller we brought back with us.Then Damien & Payton here with us and having a sleepover.

Day 2427

A cool cloudy day with rain while driving this morning. Its 7 here in Woodstock now.
Left PFJ in Beaverdam, KY this morning at 0710. Made one rest stop on the way and arrived at the border at 1037 and across at 1038. Then stopped at the PFJ in London, ON at 1145 to top up propane and fuel. Left there at 1219 and arrived home at 1254. Great to see all the family and Ruby hasn't put Charlie down since we got here. Damien & Payton and sleeping here with us tonight.

Day 2426

The day started out sunny but as we drove along we ran into rain and fog in Kentucky. Its 13 here in Beaverdam, OH now.
Left PFJ in Knoxville, TN at 0801. Made a couple of rest stops along the way and arrived at PFJ in Beaverdam, OH at 1516. Fueled up and parked for the night. Its cooled down big time - had to get on the sweaters & long pants brrrrrrrrrrrr.
