Day 2663

A sunny day here today and 22. Its 18 here now.
After breakfast this morning I did up the January calendar for the park. Then went to Staples to get copies to place in the clubhouse before posting it on our Facebook page. In the afternoon the guys went to Darrell's to watch the Canada / USA junior hockey game along with some refreshments & snacks while the gals went out for supper. We are getting ready now to go to the park clubhouse for our New Years party.

Day 2662

A sunny day here today with a cool wind and 19. Its 12 here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast we went to the park clubhouse to help decorate for the New Year's party. When we got back home I checked out our water heater as we were getting some steam & smell through the exhaust vent - tank seems to be leaking so had to order a new one. Ruby & Maryann went out for some shopping. After that we went to Lawrence & Teresa's for wine time.

A sunny day here today and 26. Its 22 here now.
After breakfast this morning I walked to the golf course and played 18 holes with the park league. After I got back home I did up and posted the stats for the golf league. Then some of the crew here for wine time. After that 6 of us went to Five Guys & Fries for supper. Then back on our deck for coffee & dessert.

A sunny day here today and 28. Its 20 here now.
Out for a walk this morning and then went for a 9 mile bike ride. After breakfast we packed a lunch and went to Indian Rocks Beach for a few hours. When we got back home we went to Fred & Dianne's for wine time. After supper I went to the park clubhouse for a few games of pool.

A sunny day here today and 28. Its 22 here now.
After breakfast this morning I walked to the golf course where I played 9 holes along with 8 other guys. Ruby went out to the store to return an item. After lunch Ruby & Maryann went out for some shopping. I did up and posted the golf teams for Thursday's golf league. I then walked to the golf course to bring over the golf teams to them. After I got back I went to the pool for a cool dip. Then the gang here for wine time. After supper Ruby went to the clubhouse for bingo.

A sunny day here today and 28. Its 24 here now.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast Ruby went out to do some shopping - looking for deals. A mostly relaxing day enjoying the warm weather after a couple of really busy days. In the afternoon we went down to Lawrence & Teresa's, along with the gang, for wine time. Going to watch the World Juniors now.

Christmas at Noel's.....

Day 2657

A sunny day here today and 29. Its 23 here now.
Opened our Christmas gifts this morning while Skypeing with Noel and family. Then over to the park clubhouse to get the turkeys ready and in the cookers for this evenings supper. After that we went back home and watched Noel, Sarah, Damien, Payton, Landon & Charlie open their Christmas gifts via Skype. Then a few couples here on our deck before we went to the clubhouse to cut up the turkeys & hams and for Ruby to make the gravy. Then back home to get ready for Christmas supper and a few couples here on our deck for a refreshment before we headed to the clubhouse for a great Christmas supper - 91 people for supper. After supper we again gathered on our deck as it was such a nice warm evening before everyone headed home.
