A mix of sun and cloud here today and 18. Its 11 here now.
Another day at the house basement job today. Installed all the baseboard & the ceiling trim along the new wall, removed door & took it outside to paint, etc, etc. After supper I reinstalled the bedroom door. Ruby & Sarah cleaned up & trimmed the flower garden in front of the house. Noel picked up Damien & Payton on his way home from work and Ruby had a pot of soup made for supper.

Day 2196
A cloudy day here today with rain and a thunder shower in the afternoon and 21. Its 14 here now.
Ruby into Woodstock this morning for her meeting and shopping after. I spent the day at the house basement job. Finished the door - installed the facings, door stop & knob - lots of cutting & fitting. Sarah put a coat of primer on the old room - it was dark green and now painting lite green like the rest of the basement. After I finished with the door I helped Sarah put on the first coat of paint. After supper we put the second coat on - the walls are all painted now.

A cloudy morning with rain and some sun in the afternoon here today and 20. Its 18 here now.
Went into Woodstock for a game of golf but but my golf buddies canceled because of the weather - misty rain. So picked up a couple of items and back home to get back at the house basement job. Primed the new wall & where I had removed the old wall. After Landon got up from his nap I painted the corners and trimmed around the door, etc. After Noel got home with Damien & Payton we went into Woodstock to return drywall and pick up baseboard, door facings & stops, etc. While we were gone Sarah rolled on a coat of paint. After supper Sarah rolled on another coat of paint and I put another coat on the corners etc. - ready to start the door trim, baseboards, etc tomorrow.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I got back at the job in the house basement - finished the plastering where I had removed the old wall, hung the door in the new wall, etc. Then had a birthday supper for Sue (Sarah's mother).

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I got back at the job in the house basement - did the plaster sanding on the new wall, put another coat of plaster where I had removed the old wall, etc. The new wall is ready for priming now. Relaxing after supper.

Ruby into Woodstock this morning to get some blood work done. When she got back home she went with Sarah for some shopping. I spent the day working in the house basement - put on the 2nd coat of plaster, installed door jams, etc. Relaxing and watching the Blue Jays ball game now.

Went to a golf course in Woodstock this morning where I met 2 guys from BVP and played 18 holes of golf with them. Into the clubhouse for a refreshment after. Ruby watched Landon while Sarah was away. After supper I got at plastering the new wall in the house basement - got the first coat on it all.

When Landon went for his nap I installed the parts on Sarah's van that we picked up yesterday. After Landon got up from his nap it was back at the wall again - we got all the full sheets up. A nice sunny day here today and 20. Its 14 here now.
After breakfast me and Noel got at getting their pool ready for the winter - drained down water, disconnected hoses & pump, drained filter, installed cover, etc. We then went into Woodstock and picked up some more supplies for their basement wall. After that me, Noel, Sarah and her father went to a scrapyard in Woodstock and got a few parts for Sarah's van. Watching the Blue Jays ball came now.

Me and Ruby went to a golf course in Tavistock and played 9 holes of golf - Gerry & Yvonne couldn't make it today. After golf we went for lunch. When we got back home I installed a trailer wiring harness on our auto. Damien & Payton here with us tonight for a sleepover.

A wet cloudy day here today with showers throughout the day and 23. Its 14 here now.
Damien & Payton stayed with us last night and we spent the morning enjoying the grandkids. After lunch Ruby took Damien into Woodstock for him to do a little shopping. After Landon woke up I finished the electrical in the house basement - ready for the drywall now. Relaxing after supper and Damien is staying with us tonight.

After breakfast this morning I got back at putting up the new wall in the house basement. At lunchtime we had a visit from Jim & Linda (BVP) - good to see them and thanks for the hockey tickets. After they left me & Noel went into Woodstock to pick up the items to do the electrical in the new room. When we got back I did some of the electrical work. Relaxing after supper and watching the Blue Jays ball game.

A nice sunny day here today and 28. Its 19 here now.
Into Woodstock this morning where I met 4 other guys at a golf course and played 18 holes of golf with them - 2 teams (3 & 2). Into the clubhouse after golf for a refreshment. When I got back home I started checking out some travel insurance for our trip down south this year. After supper I installed a barrier (chicken wire & wood) to keep Zoey (the pig) from getting up around the pool.

Did some more work in the house basement today. Made a door to cover the electrical panel and then installed it. In the afternoon we did some rearranging of the furniture - move Noel & Sarah's bed through the new wall before the rest of the studs go up, moved Landon's crib in the opposite direction, etc. Relaxing after supper.

Damien & Payton stayed here with us last night. Ruby watching Landon this morning while Noel took Sarah to see her baby doctor. I went to a golf course in Woodstock where I met 2 guys from BVP and played 18 holes of golf with them. After I got home I lubricated the joints on the motorhome awning. We relaxed after supper.

Spent the day enjoying the grandkids. In the afternoon Noel & Sarah had Sarah's family here for Payton's birthday party - she will be 9 years old tomorrow. After the birthday supper me & Sarah's father took Landon for a ride in his car.
