Out for a walk this morning. After a lite breakfast we went to Treasure island, along with 2 other couples from our park, where we met Gerry & Yvonne and played 9 holes of golf. All out for lunch after golf. Relaxing after we got back home.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast Ruby went shopping with Dianne & Marie. I washed & waxed our car. Then did some relaxing and reading in the sun. After I went for a bike ride. Then across the road for happy hour before supper. Relaxing and watching hockey now.

A nice sunny day here today and 21º. Its 14º here now.
After breakfast this morning I walked to the golf course and played 18 holes with the park golf league. Ruby over to the park hall to help get things ready for Thanksgiving supper - she also made the gravy. After golf we were across the road with the gang for a few refreshments. Then got ready and went to the park hall for a fabulous Thanksgiving meal.

Cloudy in the morning here today and sunny in the afternoon and 17. Its 13 here now.
After breakfast in Brandon this morning we went to the cat dealer in Riverview and our motorhome was ready to go. Left there at 1130 and arrive at our park at 1245. Unhooked all and got set up on our lot - good to be back at the park. Relaxing after supper.

Day 1891
A cloudy day here in Brandon today with showers and thunder showers throughout the day and 24. Its 22 here now with thunderstorms.
Another day in Brandon waiting for our motorhome to be repaired. After a late breakfast at the hotel we went to the cat dealer in Riverview to check on how they were doing with the repairs on our motorhome. Got there just before lunch time and they were in the process of installing the new water pump - they worked at drilling out the broken bolts until after 6 pm yesterday. We left and spent the afternoon checking out the shops etc around Brandon. Then back to the cat dealer at 4 pm. They had everything done - new water pump installed, new coolant reservoir installed, filled with new coolant, etc when they discovered a new leak. The metal coolant pipe running along the bottom of the engine has a small hose connected to it via a nipple and there was a leak where the nipple is made on to the main pipe. They checked with Freighterliner and they have the pipe, so it will be picked up tomorrow morning and installed. If all goes as planned we should be back on the road before lunch time tomorrow - fingers crossed lol. So its another night in a hotel room for us.

A nice warm sunny day and 32. Its 23 here now.
Motorhome into the cat dealer at 7 am to have the coolant reservoir replaced and a engine coolant leak repaired and then we went for breakfast. Got a voicemail on the motorhome so went back to see what was up. They informed me the the leak was not coming from a plate on the side of the engine but from the water pump and a new one would have to be installed. We then left and drove to Camping World to have a look around. After that we called the cat dealer to see how things were going - not good news. Some of the bolts twisted off trying to remove the water pump and would have to be drilled out so it was taking a lot longer than planned. Spent the rest of the afternoon at the stores etc. Went back to the cat dealer at 1530 and they were still working on the water pump - all kinds of trouble and it would not be ready to go today. We then got some things from the motorhome and got a hotel room in Brandon for tonight. They were hoping to finish the waterpump this afternoon before they closed and then do the reservoir tomorrow morning - hope they do so we can get back to our park tomorrow afternoon.

Will be leaving tomorrow to take it to the cat dealer in Riverview to have our coolant problems repaired on Monday. Going there tomorrow to beat the Monday morning traffic in Tampa and to be there at 7 am when they open. Pack most things in our shed.

Ruby went to her TOPS meting this morning. After breakfast we walk to the Largo golf course and played golf with the park golf league - Ruby played 9 holes and I played 18. Stopped at the nineteenth hole after. After I got back home went across the road for a couple of before supper refreshments. Relaxing after supper.

A sunny windy day here today and 15. Its 12 here now.
Out for a walk this morning and Ruby to the park hall for her exercise class. After breakfast Ruby when to the consignment shop for her appointment. I changed the front 4 plug connector on our car - it used to connect the light bar on the back of our car to the car dolly. I then lowered the 2" ball on our motorhome for our new car dolly - removed ball, fliped tongue and reinstalled ball. Then took a look at why our electric step on our motorhome was not working. Discovered that the motor wasn't working. Removed motor and took it to an auto parts store to try and match up with one there - the motor is the same as the ones used to operate windows on cars. Found a couple of close ones but no cigar. When I got back home I took the motor apart, cleaned armature & brushes, greased, etc and reinstalled it - working good now.

A cool cloudy windy day here today and 11º. Its 10º here now.
Was suppose to play golf this morning but cancelled due to the wind and showers. Got at taking the spare tire for our old car dolly from the motorhome basement and did some rearranging of the basement. Also took out the old straps etc and packed away the new dolly things. Ruby got some of her clothes ready to take to the consignment shop tomorrow. I was out for a walk after lunch. After supper Ruby went to bingo at the park hall.

Sunny here in the morning but rain shortly after noon with thunder showers thereafter and 27º. Its 20º here now.
Out for a walk this morning and Ruby to the park hall for her exercise class. After breakfast I walked to an auto parts store to pick up some wiring conduit for the new wiring I installed on our new car dolly. When I got back I finished up the wiring on the dolly. I then removed the old motion sensor door light from our motorhome and installed a new one - got the new one under warranty. Then the rain started so inside for the rest of the day.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I got at finishing up things around the motorhome - installed wheel well covers, got out chairs, etc - only took 2 weeks lol. I then got at our new car dolly - installed wiring to run the light bar on the back of our car, etc. After that we went across Atlantic Ave for a few before supper refreshments - even had a fire going.

Out for a walk this morning and Ruby to the park hall for her exercise class. After the exercise class they started decorating the hall for Thanksgiving. Gord & Marg (a couple from our park in Woodstock) here for a visit. Took them to the park hall to get Ruby and we went back to our place for a visit and a cup of tea - good to see them. After they left Ruby went back and helped to finish decorating the park hall. After she finished we went out for a little shopping. When we got back across the road for a before supper refreshment.

Ruby to the park hall this morning for her exercise class. After her class her & Dianne went throught the hall decorations to see what was needed. I drove to our US bank in Tampa and then went to Apopla (north of Orlando) to pick up a car dolly. Was gonna buy a new one but saw this one on Craigslist like the one I wanted. The person I bought it from only purchased it in July 2014 and only used it once so i got a practically new dolly and saved quite a bit of money. Will try and sell our old one down here. Got back home in the early afternoon. Then took the women for a little shopping. When we got back we were at the neighbours for a before supper refreshment.

Walked to the Largo golf course this morning for 9 holes of golf with 7 other guys from our park. After I got back home we took Mike to the Tampa airport. We then went to Ring Power Truck Center (Cat dealer) in Riverview to see about getting the coolant reservoir replaced and coolant leak repaired on our motorhome. They will email a quote later. After we got back home we went across the street for a couple of before supper refreshments. After supper Ruby went to bingo at the park hall.

Helped Mike hook up his 5th wheel this morning before going for a walk. After breakfast we went and did a little shopping for a few things to spruce up our lot. When we got back I set up a printer for a neighbour. Then I put patio stones in front of our steps and set up our Atlantic Ave. sign along with a couple of hanging plants.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I walked to Largo Golf course and played 9 holes of golf along with 5 other men from our park. After lunch I unloaded our bikes from the bike rack, cleaned them, set up bike shelter and stored bikes. Also did a couple of more things around our motorhome. Then across the road for a couple of before supper refreshments. Skyped with Sarah, Noel & the 3 grandkids after supper.

Out for a walk this morning. Then did a few things around the motorhome. At noon Mike picked me up and we went to Clearwater and played 18 holes of golf. When we got back home me & Ruby went to the American Legion in Largo where we met 9 other people from our park. Had a feed of wings & fries and some music after.
