Day 1157

Another beautiful warm day here today and 80º (27º). Its 66º (19) here now.

After breakfast at the hotel we took 3 vehicles and went to Thrifty Car Rental to add another driver to the rental van. 5 of us men then went in our vehicle to Kennedy Space Center for the day and 2 van loads went to Orlando to the malls. Both groups enjoyed their day. We were really lucky at the Kennedy Space Center as they delivered the shuttle Atlantis to the center for it to be put up on display. The shuttle program is finished and the Atlantis was the last one that flew to the space station and the last one to be delivered for display so it was history in the making - and we were there to see it - great! We all met up for supper to finish of the day.
