Day 819

Cold windy day today with wet snow flurries in the morning but sunny in the afternoon and 4º. Its 0º here now.
Lots of water in the park this morning due to the 1" of rain we had Sunday & Sunday night and the 2" of rain we had yesterday (see pics below). The brook behind our trailer was raging and if it came up 6" more it would have come over the berm and we would have had to evacuate the park - close.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for tea after. After breakfast got back at doing some workouts etc on the Wii - gotta do something for the winter. After lunch did my afternoon bus run. While I was gone Ruby went in and picked up the grandkids from school. When I got home me and Payton took Damien to his karate class. Noel here after he got home form work and he took the grandkids home after we got back.

Day 818

Cold wet day here with rain all day and 5º. Its 5º here now.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for fuel after. Ruby got the grandkids ready and then took them to their place where Damien went to school and Payton stayed home with Tammy - I stopped on my way home to pick up Payton but Tammy got back home earlier then she expected. Ruby then went to her meeting in Woodstock and then did some shopping. I did my after noon bus run and Tammy dropped Payton here on her way to work. Ruby & Payton i and picked up Damien when he got home from school. Noel here after he got home from work and after supper he took the grandkids home.

Day 816 & 817

Cool cloudy day with some sunny periods here today and 6º. Its 5º here now.
Did my morning bus run. After breakfast we went to Thamesford for Ruby to see our family doctor. Then off on my afternoon bus run. While I was gone Ruby went in and picked up the grandkids from school. Noel here after he got home from work and after supper he took Payton to her sparks in Tavistock - Ruby will pick her up later. The grandkids are here for a sleepover tonight.

Raining all day here today but warm and 12º.
Quiet relaxing day today. No outdoors due to the weather. Some reading, TV, etc. Ruby got at her Christmas cakes and cookies.

Day 815

Nice warm day with some sunny periods and 13º. Its 12º here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I cleaned the corn stove. We then went to Tavistock to watch their Santa Claus Parade - Payton was on one of the floats. Tammy & Damien met us there after Damien was graded for his advanced orange belt in karate - he passed and now has his advanced orange belt - good for him. After the parade we took Damien & Payton to our place as Tammy had to go to work. Noel came for supper after he got home from work and then he took the grandkids home. Watching some hockey now.
