A sunny day here today and 28. Its 21 here now.
Up and brought Landon down to the house for his mom to take him & Charlie to their daycare on her way to work. A little later I went into Woodstock to have blood work done. After I got back home we had breakfast and then we went into Woodstock to pick up a few things. When we got back home Ruby got some things ready for Payton's birthday supper tomorrow and I spent the afternoon out in the garage finishing up the door to the storage room, etc. Landon sleeping here with us tonight.

Day 3928
Up and brought Landon down to the house this morning so his mom could drop him at his daycare on her way to work. Then Ruby up to go to her doctor's appointment, TOPS meeting and shopping after. I went out to the garage and finished the walls in the room there, hung the door, etc. I also talked to a guy in our park who had checked the roof on our new trailer - lots of shingles off due to the hurricane. He is going to pick up shingles tomorrow and do a complete shingle job on the roof.

Day 3927
A sunny day here today and 24. Its 17 here now.
Up with Landon this morning, got him his breakfast and then took him down for Noel to bring him and Charlie to their daycare. I then got ready and went to a golf course in Woodstock where I played 18 holes along with 3 other guys. Into the clubhouse for a refreshment after. After I got back home we did some checking up on our trailers & park in Florida. No damage to our old place but some shingles tore off the roof of our new place. Got a man who lives in our park having a look at the roof tomorrow.

Day 3926
A sunny day here today and 21. Its 15 here now.
Up and got breakfast this morning for Damien, Payton & Landon. Then Damien & Payton went down to the house and after awhile I brought Charlie up to have breakfast with me & Ruby. After breakfast me, Noel & Landon went to a farm in Norwich to have a look at some barn board - Noel wanted some to do the walls of the room in the garage but board in bad shape. We stopped on the way back home and picked up some sheets of chip board to do the walls. When we got back home we installed some of the sheeting. Then did a BBQ for supper. The hurricane seems to be weakening as it approches Tampa - not out of the woods yet buy looking a little better for our park.

Day 3925
A mostly sunny day here today and 19. Its 13 here now.
Went down to the house this morning to watch Charlie while Noel & Sarah went to work. Noel back home early and I went back up to the house to watch Landon while Ruby had a nap. When Ruby got up I brought Charlie up to have breakfast with the 3 of us. After breakfast I did some adjustments on the bathroom sink drain that I installed yesterday. Then out to the garage with Noel where we did some more wiring, organizing the storage room, storing items in the overhead storage place, etc. Landon here with us tonight. Keeping an eye on hurricane Irma and hoping we have a place to go back to in November.

Day 3924
A mix of sun and cloud here today with a few showers and 20. Its 14 here now.
Getting things straightened out from our trip this morning. After breakfast I replaced the drain in the bathroom sink. Ruby went into Woodstock to pick up a few things and then picked up Landon & Charlie at their daycare before returning home. Noel picked up Damien & Payton after they got out of school and all here for supper. Landon sleeping here with us tonight.

After breakfast we closed up our new place and headed for the Tampa Airport. Got there around 1145 and then returned our rental vehicle. Spent the day at the airport and flew out at 1950. Had a good flight and arrived in Toronto at 2220. Got our luggage and Ruby's suitcase had 2 cracks in it so it took awhile to get that taken care of. Then took the shuttle to the Park'N'Fly and picked up our vehicle - had a bit of trouble getting out of their lot as they had trouble with the gate. We arrived at our place at 0145 Friday morning - tired but glad to be home.
