A mostly sunny day here today and 29. Its 24 here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast me and Fred went out and picked up some extensions cords for the park association. We then did the Sunday afternoon relax thing after a busy week. Then we got together with the crew for a few before supper refreshments.

Day 2284

A mostly sunny day here today and 29. Its 25 here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast me, Ruby, Fred & Diane went out to pick up new Christmas decorations for the park association - Christmas tree, lights, greenery, etc. Spent most of the afternoon at it going to different stores to find everything. After we got back home we got together for a few before supper refreshments.

Day 2283

A sunny day here today and 29. Its 24 here now.
Made some Christmas phone calls this morning and then watched the grandkids open their gifts via Skype before we opened our gifts. After breakfast we went to the park hall to get Christmas supper ready for 91 people - carved 5 turkeys, cut up 3 hams, boiled & mashed 40 lbs of potatoes, made 3 large pans of stuffing, did carrots & beans, etc, etc. Then home to freshen up & dress before heading back to the hall to serve the supper - all went great. After supper we went back home to change and then over to the pool, along with a few other folks, to have a dip - trying to cool down after the busy day and hot weather.
