Day 3360

A mostly sunny day here today with some cloud in the late afternoon and 28. Its 23 here now.
Went out this morning to pick up a couple of things. After breakfast I took up the rest of the cushion floor in the closet & washroom. We then spent the rest of the day working on installing the new flooring in our place. Before supper Darrell, Maryann, Sharon & Gary here on our deck for a couple before supper refreshments.

Day 3359

A sunny day here today and 29.Its 25 here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast we went to a couple of flooring stores in St. Pete's to check our some flooring for our Florida home. On the way back home we stopped at Home Depot and picked up flooring there. After lunch we started taking up the carpet etc in our home - got it all up, put outside and floor cleaned. Then had a before supper break & refreshments on our deck with Sharon & Gary. After supper we rolled up the carpet & underlay and placed it out by the side of the road.

A sunny day here today and 30. Its 25 here now.
Ruby went to her TOPS meeting this morning and shopping after. I walked to the golf course where I played 18 holes with the park golf league. After I got back home Dean & Brenda here for a visit. We then got ready and went to the clubhouse for the park's Welcome Back Dinner. After dinner me, Ruby, Gary, Sharon, Darrell & Maryann on our deck for a couple hours enjoying the nice warm evening.

A sunny day here today and 30. Its 25 here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I went to Staples to get some copies of the park calendar to be placed in the clubhouse. Then down to check Tim's motor home - they are gone on a cruise. After lunch me, Ruby, Gary & Sharon went out to pick up a few things and to check on some flooring. When we got back Darrell & Maryann joined us on our deck for a couple of refreshments. Then the 6 of us walked to the Village Inn for supper and some free pie.

Day 3356

A sunny day here today and 30. Its 23 here now.
After breakfast this morning the 4 of us went out to pick up a few things and to pick up our Spectrum TV receivers - very busy at Spectrum, we were there for 1.5 hours. After we got back home I picked up the golf score cards from Linda and then got our TV receiver up and running. After that I did up the golf teams for Thursday, posted in clubhouse and walked to the golf course to bring the teams sheet to them. Sharon & Gary here for supper with us. After supper I got their TV receiver up and running. Then did up and posted the Golf stats for Nov 01.

Day 3355

A short 3 hour drive today. Cloudy on the first part of the drive with a shower about half way and then had sun the rest of the way and 31. Its 23 here now.
Left our hotel in Lake Park at 0800 this morning. Made one stop along the way, had a traffic jam on the Howard Franklin bridge due to an accident and arrived at our park at 1115. Got both places opened up, unloaded the gear from the vehicles, organized & cleaned, etc, etc, etc. Over to Publix to pick up some things - chicken lol. Gary & Sharon rented the cleaner to do their furniture & floors. They are sleeping at our place tonight as things are still wet at their place from the cleaning.

Day 3354

Sunny when we started out this morning, then cloudy, rain for a short while in Georgia and cloudy thereafter. Its 20 here now.
After breakfast this morning we left our hotel in Battleboro, NC at 0735. Good driving today with not a lot of traffic. Make a few stops along the way and arrived at our hotel in Lake City, FL at 1700. Got checked in, freshened up and then out for supper before settling in for the night.
