Day 2498

A mix of sun and cloud here today and 28. Its 21 here now.
Landon up for breakfast with us, Damien & Payton this morning. After breakfast Ruby dropped me at a golf course in Woodstock where I played 18 holes with another guy. Ruby went to her TOPS meeting and shopping after. After golf I got a ride back home with the guy I played with. After her shopping Ruby took the dealers car back and picked up our vehicle before returning home. Ruby and Payton now watching Landon & Charlie while Noel took Damien to his soccer and Sarah went to her ball game.

Day 2497

A mostly sunny day here today and 29. Its 20 here now.
Landon up for breakfast with us and Damien this morning. After breakfast I took our vehicle to the GM dealer to get it detailed - got another vehicle while ours is being done. Then picked up a couple of things before heading back home. When I got back home me, Noel & Damien got at starting to lay the cement blocks for the garage. Took awhile to get started and figure things out as it's the first time doing it. We got about half the first row of one side laid before calling it a day - starting to go a bit faster at the end. Damien & Payton here with us tonight.

Day 2496

Landon up for breakfast, along with Damien & Payton, with us this morning. After breakfast me and Noel went into Woodstock to order the blocks & mortar for the garage and pick up a few more things. After lunch I set up some more shelving in the shed for Ruby's things. Ruby spent the day cooking a great meal - chicken, roast and all the trimmings - 10 here for supper plus Landon & Charlie. After supper I removed things from our vehicle as I am taking it to the dealer to have it detailed etc tomorrow morning.

Day 2495

Landon up for a quick breakfast with us this morning before Sarah & Ruby took the grandkids to Walmart to have some pictures done. Ruby & Payton went for some shopping after. I spent the day setting up things in the new shed - installed pegboard, organized tools on it, etc, etc. In the afternoon me, Noel & Landon went into Woodstock to pick up lobsters & shrimp for supper until we saw the price of the lobsters - $25 dollars each - ouch. We ended up getting steaks & shrimp and BBQ'd them when we got back home. After supper I finished up things in the shed.

Day 2494

Landon up for breakfast with us this morning. After breakfast I went to a golf course in Woodstock where I played 18 holes along with 2 other guys. After I got back home me & Noel starting removing the forms from the garage footings. Got some removed before supper and finishing the rest after supper. Damien & Payton sleeping here with us tonight.

Day 2493

A mix of sun and cloud here today and 30. Its 23 here now.
Landon up for breakfast with us this morning. After breakfast me & Landon started transferring our things from the old shed to the new shed. Used Noel's lawn tractor & cart to do the transporting. Then cleaned up the old shed. At it all day and will sort & pack away things in the new shed later. After supper me, Noel & Landon in the pool for a dip. We then worked on Noel's a/c - its is not blowing any amount of air. Installed new thermostat, changed air filter, etc but still not working right.

Day 2492

A sunny day here today and 36. Its 30 here now.

Landon up for breakfast with us this morning. After breakfast I went into Woodstock to pick up a few things. After lunch I installed some shelving in the new shed and set up a new fridge in there. Then a couple of guys from the concrete company, who poured the floor yesterday, showed up to do 4 cuts in the floor to, hopefully, control the cracking. I then cleaned up things around and in the new shed. After that I went for a dip in the pool to cool down before supper. After supper we all got in the pool before the grand kids went to bed.
