Day 1437

A mix of sun and cloud today with a thunderstorm this morning and 26º. Its 23º here now.

Up to the park gym this morning and Ruby up to the chalet for her workout. After breakfast I got at attaching the aluminum angle to our bike rack and then attached the lights. Then took our vehicle down and put it on the car dolly behind the motorhome to check the wiring back to the plug at the rear of our vehicle. Worked as it should and will wire the lights on the bike rack to match. In between we kept the grandkids entertained with a game of ball etc. Noel here after work for supper and spent some time with the grandkids before heading home. After supper me and Damien went for a walk and dropped into the chalet gym for awhile. We had a game of darts while there. It was Damien's first game of darts and he beat me - good job Damien.

Day 1436

A mix of sun and cloud here today and 25º. Its 19º here now.
4 of us from the park went into Woodstock for 18 holes of golf this morning. Ruby into Woodstock for her meeting and some shopping after. After an early supper we went into Woodstock again to pick up a few things and then went to a golf course where we met Gerry & Yvonne and hit some balls on the driving range. We then went to a park in Woodstock and watch some of Sarah's ball game. We brought the grandkids back with us for a sleepover.

Day 1435

A mix of sun and cloud here today and 23º. Its 15º here now.

Up to the park gym this morning. After breakfast me and Payton got at installing a wire  from the rear to the front of our vehicle. Ran a four conductor wire with a 4 wire connector on each end for some lights while we are towing with our motorhome. After we finished that we went to the pool. Ruby spent the day cooking up a fine scoff - salt beef, stuffed chicken pieces, stuffed pork, puddings, veggies, etc and topped of with a great dessert. Noel, Sarah, Damien, Bob & Sue (Sarah's parents) here in the afternoon and enjoyed the meal. Its the first time that Sarah & her parents have ever had some of the dishes and they loved it. After a nice after supper visit they all left for home.

Day 1434

A mix of sun and cloud here today and 21º. Its 16º here now.
Mostly relaxing morning. After lunch Ruby into Woodstock to pick up a few things for her supper she is doing tomorrow. After supper I went into Woodstock to pick up the items I need to install the lights on our vehicle when we are towing it behind our motor home - gonna install them on our bike rack and run the wires underneath the vehicle to the front. Ruby says i'm not allowed to install or modify anything on the vehicle itself lol. Noel, Damien & Payton here after supper and Payton stayed for a sleepover.

Day 1433

A nice mostly sunny day here today with a few clouds and 23º. Its 20º here now.
After a lite breakfast this morning we went to a golf course in Woodstock where we met Gerry & Yvonne and played 9 holes of golf with them. It's Gerry's 70th birthday today  - Yvonne had a surprise at the clubhouse for him (a new golf bag) and we gave him a golf towel. After golf we went out for lunch. After lunch we went to Gerry & Yvonne's place where we played a board game, had a sociable and helped Gerry eat his birthday cake. After we got back home we had a little rest and then out for a walk.

A nice sunny day here today and 25. Its 20 here now with lite rain.
Into Woodstock this morning with 2 other men from the park for 18 holes of golf. Ruby up to the chalet for her workout. After lunch Ruby went into Woodstock to pick up a few things and I mowed the lawn. After finishing the lawn I went up to the pool to freshen up. Out for a walk after supper.

A nice sunny day here today and 24. Its 19 here now.
Up to the park gym this morning and Ruby up to the chalet for her workout & line dancing. After breakfast I washed our vehicle, wiped it dry and then hand polished it - finished up the job that got rained out yesterday. Noel & Sarah here for a visit in the afternoon. Then into Woodstock to pick up something. Out for a walk after supper.
