Day 614

Mostly sunny day here today and 16º. Its 14º here now.
Ruby still not well.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I took the motorhome batteries down and installed them - 4 new ones for the coach batteries. Then I started the motorhome and generator and let them run for 1/2 hour. Ruby into Woodstock to check out a new Giant Tiger store that opened today. After she got home we went into Noel's and did some work on his pickup brakes. His brakes were rough when applied - found worn out shoes on drivers side rear and replaced them. BBQ there for supper. After supper me, Noel & Damien went into Woodstock to CTC. Noel's caliper stuck on the way in - smell of brake shoes burning and rim hot. Could not get a caliper at CTC so we went back to Noel's to clean it but when we got there it had cooled down so it seems to be working ok now - he will have to keep an eye on it. Spent some time with the grandkids then headed home.

Showers, cloudy and some sun here today and 14º. Its 8º here now.
Ruby feeling a little better today.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for tea after. After breakfast I went for a walk. The off on my afternoon bus run and while was gone Tammy dropped Payton here on her way to work. Ruby & Payton went in to Noel's and stayed until Damien got home from school and Noel got home from work. After supper we relaxed and watched hockey.

Nice sunny day here today and 17º. Its 14º here now.
Ruby still not feeling well.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for fuel after. After breakfast I went into Woodstock to pick up a few things. Then did my afternoon bus run and while I was gone Ruby went in and picked up Damien & Payton from school. Noel here after he got home from work. After supper Noel took Damien & Payton to Damien's soccer practice. I then mowed the lawn. Gonna watch some hockey shortly.

Sunny day here today with some wind and 13º. Its 12º here now.
Did my morning bus run and stopped for tea after. After breakfast I went for a walk and then Ruby went for her walk but she is not feeling well and had to shorten it. Did my afternoon bus run and while I was gone Tammy dropped Payton here on her way to work. Ruby & Payton went in and picked up Damien from school and Noel here after work. After supper Noel took Damien to his karate class and Ruby took Payton home where they waited for Noel & Damien to get home and then they took the grandkids to a book fair at there school. Ruby is now staying with the grandkids while Noel goes to his karate.

Cool wet day here today with rain most of the day and 9º. Its 7º here now.
Ruby has a bad cold with lots of coughing etc.
Did my morning bus run this morning and stopped for fuel after. Ruby into Woodstock for her meeting and some shopping. No walking today because of the weather so after breakfast I caught up on some paper work. Did my afternoon bus run and while I was gone Ruby went in and picked up the grandkids from school. Noel here after work. After supper we had some fun with the grandkids and then Noel took them home. Watching the Capitals/Lightning hockey game now.

Did my morning bus run this morning and stopped for tea after. After breakfast I went for a walk and after Ruby got her work done she went for a walk. Then off for my afternoon bus run. Tammy dropped Payton here on her way to work. Ruby & Payton went into Noel's to wait for Damien to get home from school and for Noel to get home from work. Ruby & Payton then came back to our place and Noel took Damien to his karate class. After supper Ruby took Payton home and then stayed with the grandkids while Noel went to his karate.

Cloudy with showers here today and 14º. Its misty and 14º here now.
Late breakfast this morning. Just before lunch Noel & Tammy dropped the grandkids here. After lunch me and Damien were out for a walk around the park. Spent the rest of the afternoon with the grandkids and watching the Wings/Sharks hockey game. Noel picked up the grandkids just before supper. Now watching the Capitals/Lightning hockey game.
