Day 5000

 A mix of sun and clouds here today and 22. It's 14 here now.

After breakfast this morning me and Noel went to Cormack to visit Gary and Sharon to see there new home and had lunch with them. After that we went down the highway to visit Cal and Maria. Then back to Deer Lake to Dean and Brenda's for a family BBQ.

It's been 5000 days now since I started this blog and I will not be posting daily from here on. I may post every now and then when a special occasion with pics etc. Hope everyone enjoyed the blog as it was boring at times 😂😂. It's fitting that I started it 5000 days ago when we left Reidville and ending tonight in Reidville.

Day 4999

 A mostly cloudy day here today with some rain and 20. It's 14 here now.

After breakfast this morning me and Bruce, along with 1 other guy, went to the golf course for 9 holes of golf. Played 4 holes and then the rain came so had to call it off. After lunch I went down to see mom and dad. Then me, Noel, Bruce and Marlene went down to Deer Lake to the Strawberry Festival, had supper there and stayed for a while to listen to the music.

 A sunny day here today and 23. It's 15 here now.

Me and Noel did some visiting in Reidville with Ruby's family today. Then down to Deer Lake to pick up a couple of things. After that back to Reidville for Justin's birthday supper. After supper we played a few games of washers and then had a fire.

Day 4997

 A cloudy windy day here in Deer Lake, NL today and it's 16 here now.

Sarah dropped me and Noel at the London airport this morning at 0415. We flew out of London at 0640 (flight delayed due to late crew arrival) and arrived at Toronto airport at 0700. Had breakfast and then boarded our flight to Deer Lake, NL. Arrived in Deer Lake at 1235 and Bruce picked us up and took us to Reidville. After that we went to Deer Lake to see mom and dad. After supper me and Bruce went to the golf course where we played 9 holes with the Wednesday night mens league.

Ruby went to her TOPS meeting this morning and then shopping after. I spent the day getting things packed for our trip home tomorrow and watching the grandkids. Me and Noel went into Woodstock in the afternoon to check on an item. Landon and Charlie sleeping here with us tonight.

After breakfast this morning l went to a golf course in Woodstock where I played 18 holes along with 2 other guys. That's enough for today with the temp here.

 A sunny day here today and 32. It's 28 here now.

Landon and Charlie here this morning for our Sunday morning bacon and eggs breakfast. After that I trimmed the trees behind our trailer. Then me, Noel and Sarah mowed and trimmed the lawn.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast spent the day at the house helping Noel with his remodeling job. Ruby and Charlie into Woodstock to pick up a few things. In the afternoon I got in the pool with the grandkids.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast this morning me and Ruby went to Cambridge to pick up a new washer. After lunch we removed the old washer and installed the new one.

After breakfast this morning l went to a golf course in Woodstock where I played 18 holes along with 3 other guys. Landon up from the house for his breakfast shortly after I left to make sure gramma doesn't get to sleep in lol.

Day 4990

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I got back at the floor trim in the motorhome. In the afternoon I went into Woodstock to pick up more trim and painted it when I got back. Ruby spent the day with the grandkids and cooking.

Day 4989

 Rain in the morning here today with sun and clouds after and 28. It's 26 here now.

Ruby went to her TOPS meeting this morning with some shopping after. I did some checking on the washer as it won't spin out. Checked out a few things and cleaned under agitator etc but still not working right. After lunch I did some caulking on the motorhome - caulked between the overhang and the cab. I then helped Noel and Sarah start working on their place - we removed some baseboard and flooring.

Day 4988

 A mostly sunny day here today with a a very lite shower in the afternoon and 31. It's 28 here now.

After breakfast this morning I went to a golf course in Woodstock where I played 18 holes along with 2 other guys. When I got back home me and Noel checked out the filter pump for the grandkids pool - took it apart, cleaned and oiled motor parts and got it running again. I then checked out why there was low voltage on the motorhome house batteries. Looks like I need new ones as they are around 8 years old and 1 will not even take a charge. 

Days 4984, 4985, 4986 & 4987

 A sunny day here today and 29. It's 27 here now.

We had a great camping trip to Niagara Falls. Me, Ruby, Noel, Sarah, Landon and Charlie left home on Thursday morning and drove to Campark Resort in Niagara Falls. Damien and Payton had to work Thursday so they drove down on Friday morning. Spent Thursday afternoon and evening in the park, into the Falls on Friday afternoon for supper and Canada Day fireworks, relaxing Saturday at the park and left the park this morning to drive back home. Weather was great except for a few late evening showers on Friday. A great family trip.
