Day 4021

 A sunny day here today and 25. Its 24 here now.

Out for a walk this morning. No golf today, housework to do lol. After breakfast and cleanup I checked out what I needed to install a drain valve in the water line to our trailer down by the house. I then went into Woodstock to pick up what was needed. After lunch I cut the water line and installed the drain valve - used to have to unhook the line to drain it before. Landon and Charlie here all day and after supper Noel took them in to their other grandparents for the night. Ruby still hoping around and still having some pain. 

Day 4020

 A sunny day here today and 23. Its 21 here now.

Landon and Charlie up from the house this morning to have breakfast with us. Then out to the shop to get the tripod cooker and grill ready for shipping. After lunch me and Noel wrapped it in cardboard and paper , labeled it and Noel will ship it to its owner tomorrow. Noel then bbq'd ribs, potatoes and onions for supper. Ruby feeling better again today after another good nights sleep. Landon is sleeping here with us tonight.

Day 4019

 A cloudy day here today with a few lite rain showers and 22. Its 20 here now. 

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I went into Woodstock to get some propane bottles filled. Noel did the cleanup on the folding tripod cooker and grill we made and after lunch he did a video of me setting up and storing the unit - he wanted it to post to his business Facebook page. Ruby had another good nights sleep and feeling good again today. We did a bbq for supper. Landon and Charlie up all day to keep us company and they are down to the house for tonight.

Day 4018

 A mostly cloudy day here today with a few sunny periods and 23. Its 21 here now.

Did some homeschooling with Landon this morning. After breakfast I went out to the shop and did some more work on one of Noel's orders - it's mostly finished now, just some clean up left to do. In the afternoon, when I finished out in the shop, I went for a walk. Ruby is feeling much better and had a good nights sleep last night. Charlie is sleeping here with us tonight.

Day 4017

 A mix of sun and cloud here today with a wicked thunderstorm in the afternoon and 28. Its 23 here now.

Up and had breakfast with Landon this morning and then got gramma's breakfast for her - she had a restless night due to the pain and uncomfortable. After that I went out to the shop for a short while to do some work on Noel's order. In the afternoon, after Sarah got back home, I went into Woodstock to pick up some groceries - had to wait in the store before bringing the groceries to the car due to the thunderstorm. Also, picked up a shower seat so gramma can have her shower while sitting. Landon is sleeping here with us tonight.

Day 4016

 A mix of sun and cloud here today with some rain in the afternoon and 22. Its 20 here now.

Out for a walk this morning. When I got back it was school time for Landon and Charlie. After breakfast out to the shop to do some more work on one of Noel's orders. After lunch Sarah called out for me and when I came out of the shop Ruby was down on the ground at the bottom of the slope in front of our trailer - she slipped going down the slope and hurt her ankle. Took her to Woodstock hospital where they x-rayed it and found out it was broken. They put a boot on it and she has to stay off it and see an orthopedic surgeon - she as to wait for a call. Landon is sleeping here with us tonight. 

Day 4015

 A sunny day here today and 27. Its 24 here now.

Out for a walk this morning. When I got back I went out to the shop and spent most of the day working on one of Noel's orders. Sarah's mom and dad brought Landon and Charlie back here in the afternoon and Sarah & gramma set up their small pool on our deck for them. The grandkids are sleeping here with us tonight.

Day 4014

 A sunny day here today and 30. Its 27 here now.

Had breakfast with Landon and Charlie this morning before I went to a golf course in Woodstock where I played 18 hole along with 2 other guys. Had a refreshment on the clubhouse deck after golf. Grandkids here with gramma for the day and after I got home we set up their small pool on the deck for them to try and cool down. After supper Landon and Charlie went to their other grandparents for the night.

Day 4013

 A sunny day here today and 30. Its 27 here now.

Up with Landon and Charlie this morning. After breakfast I went out to the shop and put away all the tools etc I used yesterday - still work to do on the order but time to tidy up a bit. After that I mowed the lawn - too hot to do any trimming, will do later. Landon and Charlie here with us all day and they are sleeping here with us tonight.

Day 4012

 A sunny day here today and 30. Its 28 here now.

Out for a walk this morning. When I got back had breakfast with Landon and Charlie. After that I went out to the shop to do some more work on one of Noel's orders. After lunch I took Payton and her friend to a park in Woodstock. When I got back out in the shop again. Landon and Charlie here to keep gramma company. Just before suppertime I went into Woodstock to pick up Damien at his friend's place and took him to his workplace. I picked up Payton & her friend at the park on the way back home. Landon & Charlie sleeping here with us tonight and I will pick up Damien later.

Day 4011

 A sunny day here today and 28. Its 27 here now.

Out for a walk this morning. When I got back I did some homeschooling with Landon and Charlie. After breakfast I went out to the shop and did some more work on one of Noel's orders. Then took the grandkids to DQ in Woodstock for our Friday ice cream treat - also went to McDs as they love their kids meal. In the late afternoon Ruby took Damien to his job in Woodstock and picked up Chinese food for supper on her way back home - I will pick up Damien later tonight. Landon & Charlie sleeping here with us tonight.

Day 4010

 A sunny day here today and 25. Its 22 here now.

Had breakfast with Landon and Charlie this morning. I then had a phone consultation with my family doctor. After that I went to a golf course in Woodstock where I played 18 holes along with 3 other guys. When I got back home did some paperwork with regards to travel insurance and then emailed it and some medical reports to them. BBQ'd some of gramma's homemade burgers for supper. Landon & Charlie here all day to keep gramma company and they are sleeping here with us tonight.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I went out in the shop to do some more work on one of Noel's orders. Ruby took Payton to her dental appointment in Woodstock and they did some shopping after. In the afternoon I went into Woodstock to pick up a few items. Landon and Charlie back home in the afternoon and they are sleeping here with us tonight.

 Cloudy here this morning, rain and thunderstorm at noon, sunny after that and a couple of small showers at suppertime and 23. Its 21 here now.

After breakfast this morning I was out in the shop for most of the day helping Noel with some of his orders. Landon and Charlie up for the day to keep gramma company. Charlie sleeping here with us tonight.

 A sunny day here today and 28. Its 26 here now.

Out for a walk this morning. When I got back Landon and Charlie just getting up and we had breakfast. Later on myself and Noel went to a shop in Drumbo to pick up some steel for some of his projects. Ruby made a lasagna for supper and we cooked it on the bbq. Grandkids down to the house tonight.

Out for a walk this morning. When I got back I did homeschooling with Landon and Charlie. After breakfast I loaded up our beer bottles and cans in Noel's truck and returned them to The Beer Store. Shortly after noon we took Landon and Charlie to McDs for theirs and our Friday ice cream treats - they also get their kids combo. After that we stopped a couple of places for Ruby and the grandkids to do some shopping before returning home. In the late afternoon I took Damien to his workplace in Woodstock and will be picking him up later tonight. Landon and Charlie sleeping here with us tonight.

Had breakfast with Landon and Charlie this morning before I went to a golf course in Woodstock where I played 18 holes along with 1 other guy. After golf we had a refreshment on the clubhouse deck. On the way home from golf I picked up Damien from his friend's place. In the afternoon myself and Ruby folded up the grandkids pool and ground tarp and I stored it in the overhead area in the shop. Landon and Charlie sleeping here with us tonight and I will pick up Damien from his work later tonight.

Day 4002

 A sunny day here today and 29. Its 26 here now.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I did some more checking on some travel insurance. After lunch I finished draining the pool and then dismantled it. Then me and Ruby hung it up, cleaned it and left it to dry. Also did the same with the ground tarp that was under the pool. Landon and Charlie back from Sarah's mom and dad in the afternoon and they are sleeping here with us tonight.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast did some home schooling with Landon and Charlie. Then spent the rest of the morning checking out some travel insurance - ours we had last year will not cover Covid-19 so will have to find another. After lunch removed the pump and hoses from the grandkids pool and pulled the plug to let it drain - pump not working so going to put it away for this year. Landon and Charlie here with us until the late afternoon when their mom took them to their other grandparents for the night.

Wow 4000 days since we left Newfoundland and started on our retirement adventure - time flies!

Up with Charlie this morning. After breakfast I went to a golf course in Woodstock where I played 18 holes along with one other guy. After golf we had a refreshment on the clubhouse deck. In the afternoon I watch the grandkids while Ruby took Damien to his workplace in Woodstock and then she did some shopping. Landon and Charlie sleeping here with us tonight. I will pick up Damien later tonight when he gets off work.

Day 3999

 Thunderstorms and rain here this morning until the early afternoon and sunny thereafter and 27. Its 27 here now.

Landon and Charlie up from the house this morning to spend the day with us - they were going to sleep here last night but change their mind. We were going to start installing the metal roofing on the lean-to today but changed plans due to the weather. Spent the day watching hockey, golf & baseball and entered Noel's business expenses into his accounting program. Charlie sleeping here with us tonight.

Up and had breakfast with Charlie - she was up early this morning. After breakfast I went for a walk. After I got back me and Noel put the eave boards on the lean-to, etc - roof now ready for the metal roofing. Noel bbq'd steaks for supper. Landon and Charlie sleeping here with us tonight.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast me, gramma, Landon & Charlie went to London for gramma to take Charlie to her doctor's appointment. After that we took the grandkids to McDs for lunch. Then made a stop for gramma and the grandkids to do some shopping. On the way back home we picked up some Mary Browns for supper. Charlie sleeping here with us tonight.

A sunny day here today and 24. Its 24 here now.

Up with Charlie this morning. After breakfast I went to a golf course in Woodstock where I played 18 holes along with 2 other guys. After golf we had a refreshment on the clubhouse deck. When I got back home I trimmed the trees behind our trailer. Also helped Noel remove the hard top from Sarah's Jeep so he could install her soft top. Charlie sleeping here with us tonight.

Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I got at strapping the roof of the lean-to to get it ready for some metal - all strapped. Landon and Charlie here in the afternoon and Charlie sleeping here with us tonight.
