Day 3380

A sunny day here today and 25. Its 19 here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast Ruby went for her walk and I went for a bike ride. Picked up a dry wall screw in the rear tire of my bike on the ride, tire went flat and had to walk my bike back home - about a mile or so walk. When Ruby got back from her walk we went out and picked up a new tube for my bike and some patching to repair small hole in the tire. After lunch I repaired the tire, installed the new tube and installed the rear tire - all looks good now. I then discovered a leak in the short rubber propane line that runs from the regulator to the tank - was installing the tank after getting it filled. We then got our Christmas decorations out from under our deck. I went out and picked up a new propane line and installed it when I got back. Then a few people here on our deck for a couple of before supper refreshments.

Day 3379

A mostly cloudy day here today and 15. Its 14 here now.
Ruby went to her TOPS meeting this morning. I walked to the golf course where I played 18 holes with the park golf league. After I got home I did up and posted the golf league stats. We then got ready and 16 of us from the park walked to a restaurant for supper. After supper we walked to the Botanical Gardens to see the Christmas lights. On the way back home some of us stopped at Baskin-Robbins for an ice cream.

Day 3378

A mostly sunny day here today with a cold wind and 13. Its 9 here now.
Out for a walk this morning. After breakfast I cut the furnace floor grate for the bathroom to make it fit with the baseboard on. I then painted the 4 floor grates grey to match our new floor - they were brown. Sprayed a few times and while they were drying I went to Staples to get some copies of the December park calendar and placed them in the clubhouse when I got back. After that I installed the grates. Then me and Gary went to a store in Largo to pick up their electric fireplace. After supper we went across the road to help them put their fireplace together.
